What we collect

• Page views — which event pages you visited and when
• View source — how you arrived (e.g., direct link, feed, search, shared link)
• Referrer — the website you came from (e.g., LinkedIn, Google)
• Device and browser information (user agent)
• IP address (used to derive approximate country/region; not stored in detail)
• Feed impressions on mobile — how long an event card was visible and whether you tapped through
• UTM campaign parameters — if you arrived via a tagged marketing link

How we use it

• To provide event organisers with audience insights (e.g., "500 people viewed this event, 80 registered")
• To improve event discovery and feed personalisation
• To measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns

Legal basis

For signed-in users, we process this data under legitimate interests — helping you discover relevant events and giving organisers accurate insight into who is attending. For anonymous website visitors, analytics data is only collected when you have accepted analytics cookies via our cookie consent banner. The mobile app does not track anonymous users — analytics data is only collected after you sign in.

Cookies and session tracking

For anonymous web visitors who accept analytics cookies, we store a session identifier in your browser to count unique visits without identifying you personally. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your cookies or using our cookie preference centre.

7. Data Retention

We retain analytics data (event views and feed impressions) for a maximum of 2 years from the date of collection, after which it is automatically and permanently deleted. Your account data and profile information are retained for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, your analytics records are anonymised (your identity is removed) and are then subject to the standard 2-year deletion cycle.
